The Arizona Society for Histotechnology is a society dedicated to the advancement of histotechnology and related sciences such as immunohistochemistry and molecular biology.

The program for the Region VII Seminar/Conference, Learn From ther Best, Head West! June 4-6 2010, is being finalized. The program includes basic, advanced, and management courses. We will also be having a general membership meeting. We are looking forward to a great turnout, see you all there.

The Social activities while not finalized, you can rest assured the board is working on putting the final touches to make sure there will be something fun for all involved, histologists, speakers, and vendors.

The society has been instrumental in developing of and supportive of the 2 college programs that are now in the process of merging into one. Promoting the science of histotechnology the remaining program will be hosted at Phoenix College.


The society is a member of Region VII of the The National Society for Histotechnology, Region VII is comprised of the southwest and western mountain states which are Arizona, Colorado Utah, Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho.
